After Israel and Hamas agreed to the first phase of President Trump's Gaza ceasefire deal, an online rumor claimed Trump had reused a deal brokered by former President Biden. Some people pointed to Biden’s May 2024 proposal, while others cited a ceasefire agreement that Israel and Hamas signed in January 2025 under Biden’s presidency.
