Doctored image of Trump spreads online amid health concerns
In early September, an image claiming to authentically show President Donald Trump with a puffy face circulated on social media, adding to unfounded rumors about his health in recent weeks.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom's press office shared the alleged image of Trump in an X post without a caption on Wednesday. Other users spread the image while speculating about the president's health. For example, one X user who shared the image wrote: "Who else thinks that Donald Trump is, at the very least, seriously ill?" Snopes web producer and reporter Megan Loe has the details.
