After Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show was suspended last week, a claim spread that he had openly supported the 2018 firing of Roseanne Barr from "Roseanne" after she made a racist social media post.
According to numerous Instagram posts and blogs, Kimmel allegedly called Barr's firing the "right thing" and supported the action. Readers sent Snopes numerous questions asking for his real response to the 2018 firing. Snopes reporter Nur Ibrahim investigated.
