The Iran war has effectively closed one of the world's most important energy routes: the Strait of Hormuz. Although a June agreement was meant to reopen the waterway, renewed exchanges of fire between the U.S. and Iran have drastically slowed ship crossings.

Reporting fellow Aleksandra Wrona gathered 13 rumors about the strait.
