A rumor spread that a phone call had leaked that featured U.S. President Donald Trump panicking to White House staffers about the release of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Social media users shared the audio in various videos, including some clips purportedly showing visuals of the White House and staffers.
We found a Facebook video featuring the fake Trump phone call audio displayed two watermarks, including one for TikTok user @fresh_florida_air and another for Sora 2 user @bradbradt31. Snopes senior reporter Jordan Liles has the details.
