Trump admin said it rescued more than 62K children from sex trafficking and abuse. Here are the facts
In early December, U.S. "border czar" Tom Homan said during an appearance on Fox News that President Donald Trump's administration had rescued 62,000 migrant children who were being trafficked for sex, forced to work or otherwise experiencing abuse.

Rumor claiming Rob Reiner said he wished would-be Trump assassin 'hadn't missed' is unfounded
A claim spread online that Rob Reiner said he wished the gunman who attempted to kill Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024 hadn't missed. The rumor spread days after Reiner and his wife were found dead at their Los Angeles home.
Social media users who shared the claim did not say when or where Reiner reportedly expressed such a sentiment. Reporter Laerke Christensen reviewed old news appearances, media interviews and social media accounts while digging into the rumor.
