Former U.S. President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
The Associated Press called the race around 5:34 a.m. ET Wednesday after a win in the battleground state of Wisconsin took the Republican nominee over the 270 Electoral College votes needed to secure the presidency.
