After the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced a sudden closure, an image circulated online purportedly showing President Trump examining a large printout about the demolition of the Washington, D.C., landmark.

One post claimed a keen-eyed photographer caught Trump looking at the printout, which read "Kennedy Center demolished," through the window of his jet.
