Investigating claims school photo company Lifetouch is in Epstein files

Social media users have expressed alarm over a rumored connection between late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Lifetouch, America's largest school photography company.

The claims spread online after the Department of Justice released more than 3 million files related to the federal investigation into Epstein late last month. Reporter Rae Deng unpacked what we know about the rumors — including how there's no evidence the company conspired with or even corresponded with Epstein.

Internet users have shared an Al Jazeera investigation that claimed Israeli forces used weapons in strikes on the Gaza Strip that made thousands of Palestinians "evaporate."

The investigation claimed Israeli forces used "internationally prohibited thermal and thermobaric weapons" to cause graphic deaths. Reporter Laerke Christensen inspected the investigation and broke down the details.
