Ahead of Donald Trump's second presidential term, Project 2025 — a sweeping plan by the conservative nonprofit The Heritage Foundation aimed at overhauling the federal government — drew significant attention.

While Trump has tried to distance himself from the initiative, key figures involved in it are now part of his administration and some of his policies closely mirror proposals from Project 2025.
