Examining claim Trump was caught cheating at golf 2nd time in a week

In early August, a rumor began to spread that President Donald Trump had been caught cheating at golf a second time in one week.

For example, one X post making the claim amassed 3.4 million views. The claim further spread on the social media platform, as well as on Instagram. Meanwhile, Snopes readers searched the website looking for more information about the claim. Snopes reporter Anna Rascouët-Paz investigated.
