Is owner of Trump Burger being deported? Biting into claim
Social media posts claimed the owner of Trump Burger, a Texas restaurant chain named after the president, would be deported after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement revoked his green card. The claim referenced Roland Beainy, who claimed to have founded Trump Burger in Bellville, Texas, and opened several additional locations.
Due to conflicting reports, we couldn’t verify with certainty whether Beainy had a green card or citizenship, or if he was facing deportation. Snopes reporter Laerke Christensen broke down what we do (and don’t) know.
