Trump Order Walks Back Biden-Era Effort To Lower Prescription Drug Prices. Here's Context
On the first day of his second term in office, U.S. President Donald Trump issued an executive order rescinding many of the executive orders signed by his predecessor, former President Joe Biden. Support Snopes With Our Monthly Membership
Snopes needs your help. Meta has cut ties with third-party fact-checkers in favor of a Community Notes model like X has. It's a move that makes it harder for fact-checking organizations to do our work, especially as we've seen firsthand how Community Notes can't keep up with the spread of false information. By building our membership, we will be able to rely less on external platforms and continue (and expand) Snopes' mission uninterrupted regardless of industry or tech changes.
